Shamita Shetty born on February 2, 1980 is an Indian actress. She is the younger and pretty sister of Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty. Shamita made her debut in 2000 with the Yaj Raj Film blockbuster Mohabbatein, which was directed by Aditya Chopra. Post Mohabbatein, she was mostly seen in item numbers, including "Sharara Sharara" in Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai (2001) and "Chori Pe Chori" in Saathiya (2002). But her performance in Zeher gave her the much awaited success as an actress. She has also worked once with her sister Shilpa Shetty in Fareb.
